Xmas party

I had lots of fun at the Xmas party. My mummy and daddy came with me and I dressed up as Minnie Mouse.

Christmas disco

Today we had a fun disco with all of our friends at the centre. We listened to music, I did some cool arts and crafts in the pottery room and loved my sausage in a sandwich for lunch finished with strawberries and ice cream, yum!! 

Water painting

Yesterday I tryed out some water colour paintings. I painted a dog in pretty colours.

What can I see??

I have been playing with these really cool jars, they are filled with coloured water, glitter and lots of cool hidden things, I have been shaking the jars to see what I can find, I saw some hearts and butterflies!!

Out and about

Yesterday I went out for a walk to town, I sat down in the sun shine and had a yummy cream donut and a strawberry milkshake.

Baby goats

Yesterday I went to Olives Donkey farm. I got to see some baby goats I liked patting them.

Tactile fun

I had an awesome session of Tactile activities, we had an underwater and water play theme, I really enjoyed playing with warm soapy water and watching a fish and a little man swim in the water. I then decided to decorate the room with lovely pieces of fabric and make it pretty. 

Out for lunch

Yesterday I went out to lunch in Greerton I chose to have sushi, the raw fish was my faviourt.

Tauranga arts festival

On Friday I went to luminarium light show on the strand it was very carming.

Girls group

Yesterday in girls group I had a foot spa and my toe nails painted with pink polish and silver sparkles.

Tweety bird

I made a Tweety Bird painting in art/craft.

Pottery

I painted a pot today that we made together,then I helped to glaze it.The pot will go to Bethlehem to be fired in the kiln,then it will come back to us smooth and shiny....can't wait to see it.

My new job chart

I have a new job cart at Arohanui. I am excited to start my new jobs

Sensory jars

I enjoyed the sensory jars in tactile actives.

Sorting the books

This morning I sorted the books in the book shelf. They are nice and tidy now.

Fun in computers

This morning I played Sesame Street on the computer. I played a guessing game.

Baking up a storm

Yesterday we participated in the SPCA cupcake day we make vanilla flavoured cupcakes with blue icing my favourite part was licking the beater.

All about me

This morning I worked on my book "all about me" I picked out some coloured paper  and photos I would like to put in my book all about me.

Outing

Yesterday I went on an outting to Fraser cove to print some photos,I had a look at the make up sale and ran into my friends from Wilrose.I finished up the outing with a yummy cream donut.

Ipp board

In personal books this morning I stared to make a puppet for my IPP board.

Making chickens

I made a really cool blue chicken in tactile activities. I used a polystyrene ball, feathers, felts, ice block sticks, pipe cleaners and straws to make a blue fluffy chicken to take home for mum. He was really cute. 

Caterpillars

Had lots of fun at the caterpillars show yesterday.  

Glow disco

On Friday we had a shared Lunch of pumpkin soup and then enjoyed a boggie down at the glow disco in the sensory room.

Making jellyfish

I had an awesome art session where I made a Jellyfish.. I let my imagination run wild and used crepe paper, ribbons, fabric and string to create an awesome underwater masterpiece. It looks so cool. 

Talking books

I enjoyed listening to talking books in computers this morning.

Fun in music

I had a go at the bongo drums in music and made some noise with the shaker.

Surprises

In tactile activies, objects where hid inside a gold ball and I had to guess what was inside what a surprise I got.

Fun in pottery

I had fun in pottery the other day painting sea creatures.

Busy in card making

Today I worked really hard to finish the cards I made for mum and dad. I can't wait to surprise them tonight!

High tea

Yesterday at Arohanui we had a high tea party. I enjoyed my mum comming along to have a cup of tea with me.

ANZAC

Last week I helped make ANZAC biscuits they were yummy! 

Finishing my cats

I had an awesome time yesterday with Nikki framing my clay cats, I even chose the backing paper. I have taken my cats home for mum and dad.

Busy in tactile activities

I have been really busy the last couple of weeks in Tactile activities. This week we were exploring different textures, rough, smooth, soft, hard, light and heavy. I loved describing each object and I was very good!! Last week I painted using water colours and brushes and have laminated my work of art to keep it safe!!

The keyboard

I had a go at playing who's that doggie in the window on the keyboard.

Showing jumping

On Friday I went for a walk down to the show jumping at the race course. I enjoyed watching the horses and eating some hot chips.

Colouring in

Today in computers I found a really cool app where I can choose a picture and colour it in. I had lots of fun and kept changing the colours until I found one I really liked. I really like the end result

Nourishing face masks

At girls group we had face masks out of Avacado and honey. It was so nice and cold on my face. It felt funny but my skin was so nice after

Pottery

I've been helping with pottery today, we are making big pot, I helped with making some shells.

Sensory room fun

I enjoyed exploring and playing with the new sensory room toys.

Christmas party

Last year we had our christmas party at the sebel.  It was hollywood glamour theme, it was so much fun.
