Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everybody!  This is my last blog for this year, so have a lovely christmas, a great New Years, and see you all next year.

Tea party

What an awesome time the girls had yesterday hosting a nutrimetics makeup tea party. We got to have a hand scrub and massage!and also enjoyed some pink cupcakes and ice tea.

Had the best time at the christmas heritage shop. They had a talking reindeer and a singing dog and lots and lots of christmas trees

Foot spas

Last week in girls group I had a foot spa and massage.

Parachute fun

I had a great time with my friends in music, everybody stood around holding the Parachute and would raise it up and down, I likes it so much I sat underneath and felt the air rush around me and loved seeing the parachute rise and fall. 

Hair washing time

Yesterday in girls group I asked the ladies if I could have my hair washed too! I had a conditioning treatment put in my hair I then asked if I could have it dryed and also got excited about the hair straightener my hair was so soft afterward! 

Computer time

Today in computers I had a go at a Dora the explora game.

Halloween disco

Had a Halloween disco this afternoon we did a halloween dance and disco.

Out and about

Had a lovely time at the warehouse today, looking at Halloween masks and buying potting mix for our giant sunflowers we are painting.

Motorbike rides

Today I got to go for a ride on Peters bike. It was fun.

I always enjoy helping with cooking.  I helped make stuffed potatoes .

Jack in the box

Today in computers I wanted to play on the iPad we have a game where we take photos of our selfs and use them.  I played the jack in the box game I really liked playing it and taking photos to use :)

Basketball game

Yesterday I joined in with sports outing and went to the QEYC for a game of basketball.  I was helping with looking after the oranges for half time and the drinks.  The game was very loud but exciting to watch.

Cultural studies

Sherie decided to join cultural studies and helped do some calligraphy.

Wilrose

Today I decided I would go down to Wilrose with the study group I enjoyed helping my friend Alissa with her calculator and exploring some exciting things at Wilrose.

Loom bands are at Arohanui!

Loom bands have arrived at Arohanui.  It's fun to spend our lunchtimes looming.

I really enjoyed music videos on the computer today In Dance and movement. I was concertrating really hard.

I had such a good time at music today. I was watching Alice play the keyboard and I really enjoyed listening to the music it made. I joined in with the shaker too. Then I had a go with the pois and swinging them around. When I was finished I gave them to Matthew to use.

Sports

I was a big help in sports helping make sure all the sports equipment was there

Dancing!

Today I had life skills and we learnt about road safety and how to cross the road. We listened to a song on you tube about crossing the road and I really liked the tune so I started dancing. I loved dancing to the music with my friends!
