Secret Santa came to Greerton

Today we had secret Santa come and give us all presents it was really good😊

Rodger dressed as Santa and helped pass out the prezzies 🎁 We all had lots of laughter and smiles from all! Thanks to everyone it was great.

Yatton Park BBQ

I had a lovely time at the Yatton Park BBQ with my friends. We went on a Photo Scavenger Hunt followed by BBQ sausages in bread! I enjoyed sitting under the shade tent and watching the guys play T-ball after lunch. I was glad to get back to Arohanui for a rest.

Computers

Today in computers I really enjoyed playing the Elmo game. I had so much fun counting the numbers and doing the puzzles. 

 

Cafe visit

I went to Zest café and had a huge piece of cheesecake with whipped cream, it was so good. On the way back to the centre I stopped and had my picture take with Santa.

sports outing

 I enjoyed today, having a go at playing cricket with my friends down at yatton

park under the shade of some big trees

Beans

Today I helped to make Green Bean Casserole with my friends. We are making it for our Thanks Giving Day lunch on Thursday.

Computers

I had so much fun in my computer session, I decorated 2 Minnie Mouse club houses. I am very proud I done an amazing job.

Art

I painted my Mum a lovely picture and was so proud.

Cooking

I helped make a pizza and it was so yummy.

Outing to Elms mission

I really liked my visit to Elms Mission, on our way back to the centre I got a pink cream donut, it tasted so good.

Animates

I had great fun looking at all the animals at animates with my friends. We saw rabbits, fish, a puppy, and a little turtle.

Jump!

I had fun with my mates hanging out at "Flip Out". We jumped on tramps and hung out in the sponge pit.

Pampering

I really enjoyed getting my hair washed in girls group. My hair was soft and wavey and I looked gorgeous too.........

Pampered in Girls Group

I really enjoyed my time in Girls Group last week. I asked the staff to wash and blow dry my hair. It was really exciting.

Historic village Bush walk

I had a nice outing with my friends. we went to the Historic village and discovered a Bush walk that we didn't know was there! It had bird houses for tuis and really cool seats to sit down an enjoy the native bush.

Happy birthday to me!!

Celebrating birthdays are so much fun at Arohanui. Especially with chocolate cake.

Today I made a picture of lots of pots.I had a great time choosing from the big pile of art then I stuck them onto the tissue paper.Im looking forward to taking this one home !

The Art Gallery

i had a really cool visit to the Tauranga art gallery. There were col display of Maori carvings. I was a really good girl and loved riding in the elevator.

Peter Rabbit Picture

Look what I did !! I made a picture of Peter squeezing under the gate.I did lots of careful colouring and was very pleased with myself.." Well done Sherie " I worked so hard the first day I fell asleep on the job!

Hairy Mclairy

I had an outing this afternoon and on the way to see the hairy Mclairy statues I saw my daddy doing deliveries. I went and looked at all of the statues and then because I was so good, I had a cream donut afterwards from sandstone café. what a cool outing!

Peter Rabbit

I'm going to make some Peter Rabbit bits and bobs....a picture to start,then a Peter Pot !

Under the sea

I had a cool sensory session were I built the bottom of the ocean with fish, seaweed, starfish and a big jelly fish

Soup time

Today I made tomato and lentil soup. I liked stirring the soup and I helped to get containers out to take the soup home.

Cowboy singer

I enjoyed the country cowboy singers and even had my photo taken with them.
