Worked up a sweat this afternoon. Some stretching, boxing, sit ups and dancing. It was a blast!

I have really loved swimming with my friends this term. I have learnt that if the pool is too busy I can do my walking laps in the exercise lane.

 This afternoon I went for a walk to Liston park. I really enjoyed playing on the swings and pushing Sarah on the merry go round. Such a lovely day today ☀️

 out at the merivale community gardens, giving it a big clean up and planting some tomato's :) CR 

Saw mill

Off to the Tauriko saw mill ☀️ collecting wood shavings for our veg gardens. Scoping up all the shavings up in a buckets and outing them in our bags CR

It was nice to be back at the gym working on goals.

Acts of kindness

  Today for acts of kindness we delivered a big bunch of flowers and a card to the man Mark at the Ply Man. Then we visited the Merivale community garden to collect bunches of calendulas to dry to make salad confetti.

 I enjoyed researching the Australian zoo, for my trip next week to Brisbane.TA

Music fun

Had a fun morning jamming out to some summer beats! I really enjoyed playing musical statues.

Hotpools

 

Sherrie enjoyed the hot pools, it was very relaxing and quiet say out. The pools were very hot but I liked it, the cold pool was to cold, so I wanted to go back in the hot one. I enjoyed the picnic and walking on the beach but the sleep in the van on the way home was the best

 At spotlight I saw a Santa sausage dog door stop. Pretty funny.DG

Recycling

 I was a tidy kiwi today recycling soft plastics at the supermarket. DG

Sherrie loves the swimming pool. Sherrie likes walking up and down but doesn't like when she gets smashed by people swimming

I love the circus people, look at me balancing the balls on my head, I enjoyed the parachute too

Kite Flying

 

This afternoon I flew a kite at Moreland Fox Park. It was really windy and the kite flew easily. The kite was a pretty purple and pink butterfly. So much fun. DG

Ocean Clean Up

 Today in Sensory we did an ocean clean up theme. We had trays of sand and blue orbees. There was lots of rubbish all over the beach which we had to clean up. We also rescued the different animals.

We read the book Dear Earth about the environment and what we can do to look after the planet.

Visiting the Bethlehem gardens 🌈 researching for what we will soon plant and harvesting some comfrey to plant at arohanui 😇 CR

I like the new squeeze toys in the sensory room. This one has little balls inside of it like sprinkles. Sherries favourite sprinkle are chocolate hail
